What is a ProFractional procedure like?

ProFractional is a fast, comfortable procedure done in our office. The procedure normally takes 30 minutes depending on the condition and the size of the area treated. A numbing cream will be used in advance to aid in comfort during the procedure.

How many ProFractional treatments will I need?

The laser procedure is typically done in a series of 1-4 treatments, spaced 3-6 weeks apart, depending on your needs. Dr. Balshi will personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. Dr. Balshi may also combine ProFractional with a MicroLaserPeel or other popular aesthetic procedure to further enhance your treatment results.

What should I expect after treatment?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience a mild redness, resembling a light sunburn sensation. Complete healing takes only about 2-5 days depending on the depth of your individual treatment. Most patients can go back to work only three days after the treatment.
